-Take advantage of the spa. There is no charge for using the sauna/steam room--splurge for a massage--they're great
-Check out the two very private pools next to the spa
-There are several outdoor hot tubs/small pools throughout the property--check them out
-Ask for huevos rancheros at breakfast at Spices
-Make a dinner reservation outside at Palazzo and watch the sun set. Use insect repellant on your ankles
-Skip the whole dinner show in the theater--rather, eat elsewhere and drop in for a few minutes of the show
-Sample the sipping tequila at dinner at Spices--very smooth, and not at all like the harsh tequila we're used to
-Ask for a marguerita on the rocks (en las rocas)--much better flavor than a blended marguerita
-Walk south on the beach to the stone outcroppings--take a camera and some bread to feed fish--climb over the outcropping and have a swim in the little lagoon
-Enjoy the fake Casino Night at the Sports Bar--stick around to bid for RH stuff at the end of the night with your winnings
-Be very careful with the sun--SPF 30 frequently and bring aloe gel for after shower
-Make friends with the activities guys near the pools--great guys, incredibly friendly
-Speak some Spanish--if only to say "Hola" to everyone you meet
-Bring a couple of your favorite CDs for the in room player
-Use the free PC in the lower lobby to hook into your home ISP for e-mail
-Avoid the phones like the plague--there is at least a $4USD/minute surcharge over the regular international rates!!! If you must, there are 2 Latadel payphones across the street at the mini shopping center
-Withdraw pesos from the ATM across the street--best rate all week, even with a $1USD charge for its use
-If you want night life, heard that the Requiem nightclub in PDC is fun. Starts late ~ 11PM, goes late ~3-4AM
-Have a great time
